Your voice. Your goals. Your team.
You are trusting people with ideas you care about—and with your time and money. You deserve to understand how that help will support your book, your readers and the work you want to do.
I’m Michael R. Drew. I help authors connect their message, book and platform around the people they want to reach. This page introduces the people behind that work. Your proposal will identify who is involved in your project and what each person is responsible for.

Your reader comes first.
Your reader needs a reason to care and something useful to take away. Your book and platform should keep that promise in your voice. I start with who you want to help, what they need and what the work should make possible for you.
My background includes book marketing at Bard Press, Entrepreneur Magazine, Longstreet Press and Thomas Nelson Publishers. You can inspect named books and campaigns in the track record to understand that experience.
Away from the work, I’m a father, a Star Wars fan and a BYU sports enthusiast. A book is personal work; I want our conversations to leave room for the person creating it.
People behind your plan
Anthony Garcia
COO and CHIEF PERSONA ARCHITECT
Your website should meet people where they are, answer the questions that matter to them and make their next step clear. Anthony’s work in Persona Architecture helps connect those buyer scenarios with your message and website.
Anthony C. Garcia is our COO and Chief Persona Architect, and a co-author of Buyers Legends: The Executive Storytellers Guide. His background spans radio, marketing and storytelling. Outside work, he enjoys cooking, fiction, film and television.

Bob Hughes
Your experience needs to become a manuscript a reader can follow. Bob brings a reporter’s attention to ideas, stories and clear writing. His background includes covering books and the arts for The Wall Street Journal, and writing the novels Late and Soon and The Rectory.
For your project, we will define the writing and editing support you need and confirm the people assigned to that work.
Lehi Drew
CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER
As Chief Technology Officer of Promote a Book, David L. “Lehi” Drew develops and manages the technology that supports the company's book-marketing campaigns. His work helps turn complex processes into practical systems for organizing information, monitoring campaign activity and keeping essential operations running smoothly.
Lehi began working with Michael R. Drew in 2007 and has spent nearly two decades combining his expertise in software development with a firsthand understanding of the book-promotion business. His experience spans website development, databases, application infrastructure and the programming technologies that connect them.
From bestseller data-entry and campaign-monitoring systems to tools supporting authors, publishers and retailers, Lehi builds the technology that helps Promote a Book manage the many moving parts of a coordinated campaign. His contribution is largely behind the scenes, but it plays an important role in making the company's work more organized, efficient and dependable.
You should be able to understand how the parts fit together and what is included in your engagement. The proposal will define the technical work and responsibilities for your platform.
